Pneumonia Vaccination

Good morning!

Hoping and praying you are all feeling well today!

I’m 55 and have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Because of my age I have not been given a pneumonia vaccination yet; however, my physician and I are wondering if I should get one due to the MCAS. I would love to hear at what age other physicians have recommended mast cell patients to get their pneumonia vaccination.

I was advised at 55 to get mine. I understand there might be two or 3 different ones now. I had no issues with the one I got. I seemed to help chronic bronchitis issues that I had. I find no causation as to why that would be.
